Emilia Ivancu is a poet, translator and researcher. At present she teaches Romanian language and literature in Poznan, Poland, and holds a position at the University of Alba Iulia, Romania. She has translated Angharad Price's novel Oh, Tyn y Gorchudd from Welsh into Romanian as well as the work of Diarmuid Johnson. Her collection of poetry, Jocul de a nu fi mai mult decat sunt/Gra w to, aby nie byc wiecej niz jestem was published bilingually in Romanian and Polish, and Samanii si poetii is her latest volume of poems. Her other publications include Travels with Steinbeck in Search of America and The Birth of Trystan and Other Poems/Nasterea lui Tristan si alte poeme (translator and co-author). In winter, when she writes poetry, she dreams of the Welsh seawaters and the island Enlli, where she believes she will go some day. Diarmuid Johnson was born in Cardiff, Wales in 1965. He was brought up in Ireland and received his education there through the medium of Irish.

He holds B.A., M.A. and doctoral degrees in Celtic Studies. Since 1989, he has worked as a university lecturer and visiting professor in Ireland, Wales, Brittany, Germany and Poland. He has five years experience as journalistic and editor. Author and co-author of many books, he is also an accomplished musician, and his flute-playing features on various recordings.

He holds the position of bard in residence in Rhos-y-Gilwen Mansion, Pembrokeshire, Wales. His first solo exhibition of graphic art, Feuer und Schatten, was held in Bonn, Germany in 2014.
