James Swallow is the author of the Horus Heresy novels Fear to Tread and Nemesis, which both reached the New York Times bestseller lists. Also for the Horus Heresy, he has written the Siege of Terra novella Garro: Knight of Grey, the novels The Flight of the Eisenstein and The Buried Dagger, and a series of audio dramas featuring the character Nathaniel Garro, the prose versions of which have now been collected into the anthology Garro. For Warhammer 40,000, he is best known for his four Blood Angels novels, the audio drama Heart of Rage, and his two Sisters of Battle novels. His short fiction has appeared in Legends of the Space Marines and Tales of Heresy. John French is the author of several Horus Heresy stories including the novels The Solar War, Mortis, Praetorian of Dorn, Tallarn, Slaves to Darkness and Sigismund: The Eternal Crusader, the novella The Crimson Fist, and the audio dramas Dark Compliance, Templar and Warmaster. For Warhammer 40,000 he has written Resurrection, Incarnation and Divination for The Horusian Wars and three tie-in audio dramas - the Scribe Award-winning Agent of the Throne: Blood and Lies, as well as Agent of the Throne: Truth and Dreams and Agent of the Throne: Ashes and Oaths. Nick Kyme is the author of many Horus Heresy novels, novellas and audio dramas, including Old Earth, Promethean Sun and Nightfane.


His novella Feat of Iron was a New York Times bestseller in the Horus Heresy collection The Primarchs. For Warhammer 40,000, Nick has written Volpone Glory and the Dawn of Fire novel The Iron Kingdom. He is also well known for his popular Salamanders series and the Cato Sicarius novels Damnos and Knights of Macragge. His work for Age of Sigmar includes the short story ''Borne by the Storm'', included in the novel War Storm, and the audio drama The Imprecations of Daemons. He has also written the Warhammer Horror novel Sepulturum. He lives and works in Nottingham. Dan Abnett has written over fifty novels, including the acclaimed Gaunt''s Ghosts series and the Ravenor, Eisenhorn and Bequin books. His work for the Horus Heresy includes the first book in the series, Horus Rising, and the three-volume-long conclusion, The End and the Death.


He also wrote several novels in between: Legion, The Unremembered Empire, Know No Fear, Prospero Burns and Saturnine. He scripted Macragge''s Honour, the first Horus Heresy graphic novel, as well as numerous Black Library audio dramas. He recently penned the Warhammer 40,000 novel HIVE , as well as Interceptor City, the eagerly awaited sequel to fan-favourite Double Eagle. Dan lives and works in Maidstone, Kent. Gav Thorpe ''s long and prolific career with Black Library has seen him write across the depth and breadth of the Warhammer universes. Author of the Horus Heresy novels The First Wall, Deliverance Lost, Angels of Caliban, Corax, and novella The Lion, he has also written the titles Luther: First of the Fallen and Rogal Dorn: The Emperor''s Crusader. His Warhammer 40,000 work includes Indomitus, the Dawn of Fire novel The Wolftime, and The High K'hl''s Oath, amongst many others. For Age of Sigmar, Gav wrote the novel The Red Feast, and in 2017 he won the David Gemmell Legend Award for his novel Warbeast.


He lives and works in Nottingham. Guy Haley ''s work for Black Library spans the depth and breadth of the Warhammer universes. He is the author of several Horus Heresy novels, including The Lost and the Damned, Titandeath, Wolfsbane and three titles in the Primarchs series. He has also written many Warhammer 40,000 books, including Dawn of Fire: Avenging Son, the Dark Imperium trilogy, and the Belisarius Cawl novels The Great Work, Genefather and Archmagos. For Age of Sigmar he has penned the Drekki Flynt novels The Arkanaut''s Oath and The Ghosts of Barak-Minoz as well as many other stories. He lives in Yorkshire with his wife and son. Chris Wraight is the author of the Horus Heresy novels Ashes of the Imperium, Warhawk, Scars and The Path of Heaven, the Primarchs novels Leman Russ: The Great Wolf and Jaghatai Khan: Warhawk of Chogoris, as well as several novellas and the audio drama The Sigillite.
