Dan Abnett is a multiple New York Times bestselling author and an award-winning comic book writer. He has written more than fifty novels, and is especially celebrated for his Warhammer 40,000 fiction, and Doctor Who novels for the BBC. In comics, he has written for many different characters, including Superman, Judge Dredd, Aquaman, Nova, Legion of Super-Heroes, Vampirella, Red Sonja, and Justice League, and his run on The Guardians of the Galaxy for Marvel formed the inspiration for the blockbuster movies. He also writes extensively for the games industry. Dan lives and works in Maidstone, Kent, in the UK. A native of Salamanca, Spain, Manuel Garcia started his career drawing Robin #92 and The Spectre #7 for DC Comics, before doing his first work for Marvel, The Avengers #44-47 . He would go on to draw numerous books for both companies, including Thunderbolts , Spider-Man: Breakout , Iron Man: Noir , Countdown , All-Flash , and many more.
