Echoes from Vietnam : Whispers from the Disposable Soldiers
Chris entered the army in 1966 as the USA was building up its presence in Vietnam. Over the next two years he trained and fought with some of the greatest men that he has ever had the privilege of knowing. Upon returning to the States, Sergeant Adams became an instructor in the Fort Benning Airborne School. In 1975, six years after his discharge, he married; graduating from college in 1980 with a BS in Chemistry and Biology. It was in 1973 Chris was hired by a company that he eventually retired from, in 2007, after thirty-four years. Chris and his wife are blessed to be the parents of two beautiful daughters.
