Sandra Aldrich has written and spoken extensively on joyful living, marriage and family issues, youth challenges, single parenting issues, the affects of alcoholism on families, and grief in the death of a loved one. Her Kentucky storyteller style has made her a popular guest on numerous radio and television shows, including Heart to Heart of the The 700 Club, Prime Time America, Mid-day Connection, and Focus on the Family broadcasts. After Sandra's husband died of brain cancer in 1982, she was left to raise her ten-year-old son Jay and her eight-year-old daughter Holly. Sandra holds a master's degree from Eastern Michigan University (and, she says, a "Ph.D. from the School of Hard Knocks). She taught in the public school system for fifteen years, has served as a community service representative for a line of funeral homes, and was senior editor of Focus on the Family Magazine for several years.
