This thorough commentary employs the literal, grammatical-cultural-historical method of interpretation, the objective method that lets the Bible speak for itself. It is the result of over 700 hours of careful analysis, research, deep thought, public teaching, and thoughtful writing so as to make the contents easily understandable. When helpful, Greek terms from the original text are explained. This commentary attempts to leave nothing in the text unexplained and to show how everything fits together into a logical flow of thought. In that interest the author always searches out and uses the original author's outline. The author is an exegetical theologian. His purpose is to draw out the full meaning of the text and the Biblical doctrines it addresses. He finds the principles and applies them to the knowledge of God and His ways.

He earned his master of divinity degree in 1984 and has been a careful, objective, and logical student and teacher of the infallible word of God since 1974.
