M.D. ALLEN, author of new YA fantasy book Matilda Seer, lives in Southern California with her husband, three girls and Willow the cat. Together with her husband, she owns Pixerati, a Visual Effects and Animation company. She has written scripts for VeggieTales, a DreamWorks property, and co-wrote The Ways (an animation series currently in the works). She's an avid tea drinker, dreamer (just like her main character), and loves storyboarding with her girls-especially while in her favorite vacation spot, Terrigal, Australia. Matilda Seer is the first book in an ongoing series.
