Ellen Solis, DNP, CNM, ARNP, FACNM is a Clinical Professor at the University of Washington School of Nursing. Ellen is the program director of UW's Nurse-Midwfery DNP program and directs the School of Nursing's Graduate Certificate in Sexual and Reproductive Health. She has over 23 years of experience as a nurse and midwife and has been an advocate for equity in sexual and reproductive health for the entirety of her career. She has published articles and a textbook chapter aimed at healping clinicians expand their practice, reduce their biases, and commincate effectively with clients. In addition to working as a clinican and advocate, Ellen is dedicated to bringing these subjects to her students and improving the education of nurses and advance practice providers nationwide.'.
