Ryuta Amazume is a true manga veteran and possibly one of the most recognized ero-comedy artists in modern history. Acomic artist since his college days, Amazume broke through in the worldof adult comics in the late 90's. Eventually his art and story-tellingcaught the eyes of Hakusensha's Young Animal magazine. In 2001, hisdebut series Toshiue no Hito set into stone his place among someof the greats in romance comedies at it immediately made an impact withyoung adult readers across Japan. Since then he has penned nearly twentytitles, most of them focusing on young couples finding love undercomedic and touching circumstances.
