While adherents of The Black Hebrew Israelites0F no longer wish to be identified by this title (for various reasons that we will explore later in the book), they still vehemently use Scriptures out of context in an attempt to prove that Jesus and the Jews (Judah) were black and that the American negroes who experienced the Transatlantic Slave Trade were black Jews. As many other minorities began to gravitate to their message, the word BLACK was dropped. Now they desire only to be known as Hebrew Israelites; hence, the development of their Twelve Tribes Chart.
