A fine Infantry Brigade history covering heavy fighting including Operation Epsom, Hill 112, Operation Jupiter and Operation Bluecoat. One of the scarcer World War II unit histories of the type that were published just after the German surrender, this originally printed in the region of Holstein during 1945. After landing in Normandy, the brigade and division fought virtually continuously from then on through Caumont, the Seine Crossing, the Gheel Bridgehead, Best, Tilburg, Meijel, Blerwick, the Maas and across the Rhine. The 44th Infantry Brigade was an infantry brigade of the British Army that saw active service in the Second World War, and served with the 15th (Scottish) Infantry Division.
