Nancy P. Atkins, PhD, has been an administrator and educator for Averett University and University of Phoenix in Richmond, VA for many years and has inspired and motivated numerous adults to obtain their higher education degrees. With that same tenacity, she embraced a new career as Senior Program Director at the Boys & Girls Club Metro Richmond. Wholeheartedly, she believes and is often found saying, "The children are for signs and wonders." She enjoys spending time with her three young adult grandchildren NaNita, LaVar, StepFone and O'Brian, age 16, and her daughter Alisa. Although Nancy is thrilled with unexpected lived experiences though the Word, she is delightedly happy when she babysits for her two-year-old grandson Solomon Lee Thornton.
