Professor Blackman gets into more trouble in this sequel to "Two Versions of Truth."As a college English professor in a small town in northern Minnesota, the professor continues his extra-curricular activities in helping the FBI. Although he doesn't look for trouble, he finds it - or it finds him - and he doesn't avoid doing what is needed because of the danger involved. In the first story, the professor's quiet life is disrupted when he, his wife, and his favorite student, Larry, help a troubled young woman on campus. The professor resolves to stay focused on his promotion to Chair of the English Department at Montmore College in the second story. The FBI, however, convinces him to assist them in a computer espionage case. The professor, his wife, and his student travel to Texas to visit friends and enjoy the Christmas holidays in the third story. While celebrating the holidays, Larry and the professor find themselves in the center of a terrorist plot.
