Photographer Michael Schulz is interested in the forms, colours, textures, weird niches, bright light, and the humour of the moment. He published his first smartphone photo in fall 2010 on Instagram. His channel, Berlinstagram, grew rapidly and soon became one of the most popular German accounts, with nearly a half-a-million fans. In the mean-time, Schulz has been using other types of cameras to provide material for both his own channel and other people's channels, too. He is a company consultant and creates visual marketing campaigns, travelling around the world for his assignments. For 'Berlin Stories #5' Michael Schulz has opened up his archive and selected his favourites as well as images not published ever before.
