David Bedford is a life-long Beatles fan who grew up in the Dingle, Liverpool, at the bottom of the street where Ringo Starr was born; attended the same school as the famous drummer - though many years later - and has been involved as a parent and governor at Dovedale School, where John Lennon and George Harrison attended; he has lived by Penny Lane for 20 years. Bedford is also a feature writer for The British Beatles Fan Club since 2000. He has been interviewed on BBC Radio and several national British newspapers about his knowledge of the Beatles. He was most recently chosen by Paul McCartney's production team to lead and direct the film crew around McCartney's childhood haunts for the pre-show film on his Back in the World tour. Heidi Howarth is the author of The Littlest Lighthouse Keeper and How to Catch a Falling Star . She often collaborates with her husband, illustrator Dan Howarth. Caroline Castle is the author of several picture book texts as well as two novels for older children. She has also illustrated two picture books for Piccadilly Press, Elizabeth Jane Gets Dressed and Mary Ann Can .
Duba Kolanovic lives in the lovely Mediterranean town of Zadar on the Croatian Adriatic coast. With a uniquely recognizable style, her love of nature is clearly present, from her adorable animals to her atmospheric landscapes. Daniel Howarth started drawing from a very early age and went on to study art at college and then university. He graduated with a degree in Illustration in 1994 and started creating his own range of greetings cards with his wife and fellow children's author, Heidi Howarth, whom he met at university. Daniel works from his studio in Exeter and enjoys the wealth of inspiration and imagination that comes from living deep in the Devon countryside with his wife and two children.
