Stephen Bell is a lifelong Pennsylvania resident, born in Altoona and living in suburban Philadelphia for more than 40 years. His ingrained love of history stems from his youthful fascination with his heritage as a descendant of both old-line American families and others arriving in America among the waves of European immigrants during the industrial revolution. He served more than 14 years of active military service with the U.S. Army, beginning with a tour of duty in Vietnam spanning the years 1969 - 70. Following military service he signed on to a career in banking. Stephen received his Bachelor's Degree from Widener University and Master's from LaSalle University.
