A Catholic Catechism
St. Robert Bellarmine, S.J. (1542-1621), the patron saint of catechists and Doctor of the Church, wrote his A Catholic Catechism at the order of Pope Clement VIII. Bellarmine explains the most important points of Catholic doctrine, including the Apostles' Creed, the Our Father, the Ten Commandments, and the sacraments. Many popes have praised Bellarmine's catechisms and recommended their use throughout the Catholic Church. This edition gives us Bellarmine's catechism in modern readable English.
