In the wake of the Brexit vote and the Trump presidency the issue of immigration is at the forefront of public discourse again - from debates about the value of migrant Labour to the UK economy to the furore over the new president's plans to build a wall between Mexico and the USA. Former Green party leader argues that immigration is, in fact, beautiful - that the flow of people, ideas and culture across international borders enriches communities everywhere (especially in the UK post-Brexit) and leads to societies where tolerance, mutual collaboration and prosperity (both intellectual, cultural and economic) results.
