The Earth's mightiest biosphere is under attack. Aliens have landed a mountain fortress in the middle of the Amazon and are harvesting the rainforest on a massive scale. David Morgan has been captured and is imprisoned in the heart of the White Mountain. He and a handful of other find unique ways to survive as they search for a way to escape the alien stronghold. His sister Sally is leading a research team working to better understand the nature of Earth's enemies and determine how to drive them back. She quickly finds herself swept up in political infighting as government and religious forces struggle over the implications of the aliens, both spiritually and technologically.The aliens have destroyed all satellites and shoot down every aircraft that comes within three hundred miles of their mountain. This makes mounting a counterattack all the more difficult.

Daniel Johnson is a Lieutenant assigned to a Marine Expeditionary Unit that sails into the battle. Denied GPS, air support, radio communications, and drones, the must rely on a few armored vehicles and bravery to take on the vast hordes of alien warriors.
