Up-and-coming Assistant District Attorney Sean Turlow is assigned to work a routine murder case with veteran detective Matt Burton. Sean soon discovers, however, that this is anything but a routine murder. As things begin to spiral out of control, Sean is confronted with police corruption, evidence tampering, lying witnesses, and a system more interested in protecting careers than in finding the truth. Complicating things even more, Sean becomes romantically involved with Diana Baker, the attorney defending the primary suspect. Who can be trusted? Who has the most to gain.and the most to lose?
