Describes methods and algorithms for image preprocessing as well as imagine recognition. These methods are based on a parallel shift technology of the imaging copy which allows the generation of a minimum set of features, to describe and to recognize the image. The methods enable us to process digital images using the minimum number of the characteristic features to describe them. Furthermore, the use of such technology enables us to process images without converting them into digital format. Based on these methods, the original optical image can be recognized and processed efficiently in real time. Book jacket.
