Along with two of her five kids, her husband, three cats, and a service dog, Kerry E.B. Black lives in an itty-bitty cottage nestled in a swamp along the Allegheny river outside of the city of Steel and Zombies. She is a member of the Horror writers Association, PennWriters, The Nomadic Wordsters, and is a Rough Writer at Carrot Ranch. This one-time journalist with Gannett Publications and First Reader for PP&P participated in the Bards of Three Rivers, Penn State's Poetry, and The Pittsburgh Poets programs of the past. She's also written two YA Paranormal Thrillers, "Awakening at Equinox" and "Spring of Secrets", and has three collections of short stories, including the TAZ winning "Herd of Nightmares", "Carousel of Nightmares", and "Fairy Herds and Mythscapes".
