Cherice Bock (PhD candidate and MS, environmental studies, Antioch University New England; MDiv, Princeton Theological Seminary; BA, psychology, George Fox University) co-edited this volume with Stephen Potthoff. Bock teaches in the creation care program at Portland Seminary of George Fox University, and served as visiting professor of environmental studies at the Oregon Extension in 2018. She is co-clerk of Sierra-Cascades Yearly Meeting. Growing up Quaker in Oregon, USA, Bock connects with God through the natural landscape of the Willamette Valley, the Pacific Ocean, and the mountains. Caring for creation through her personal life, teaching, writing, and advocacy forms the heart of her current call to ministry. Bock has been a GreenFaith Fellow, a Re:Generate Fellow through Wake Forest School of Divinity, and a scholar-in-residence sharing about Quakers and creation care at Reedwood Friends Church (2017) and Berkeley Friends Church (2018).
