The poems in this book have been inspired by things learned and through stories, Mike Booth heard from so many of the people he became friends with, and the cowboys along the way who taught him the ways of the cowboy. As you read this book, I hope you will find out more about Mike's feelings about the cowboy way and the people who aspire to it.
