As a former carer and now a person living with dementia, I found that there are a couple of common threads affecting us all, whether we are a carer or a person living with any type of dementia: Lack of support or care and the stigma that is attached to a dementia diagnosis. Should you get diagnosed, and if so, why? How can you overcome the stigma? Where can I find support whilst living with dementia or as a carer? These are questions I will answer in the book based on my experience and what I have learned over the years. There is support, but, sadly you need to know where to look.
