This insightful new book reflects a range of views, opinions and perspectives on the subject of development education and on related themes of global education, global learning and global citizenship. Contributions are based in an international context with contributions from the UK, Europe and South America and a particular focus on Germany and Brazil. Development education and its related terms have been around since the 1970s but they have had a difficult history.
