George Bergeman's teaching career of over 25 years began at a small college in West Africa as a Peace Corps volunteer and continued at Northern Virginia Community College, one of the largest multi-campus colleges in the country. Teaching awards include Faculty Member of the Year honors at his campus. He is the author of numerous software packages that provide targeted and effective support for instruction. His first package was a statistics software/workbook combination published in 1985, and since then, George has developed a variety of software packages to support statistics, calculus, developmental math, finite math, and math of finance.
