THAT'S THE WAY IT WAS¿ During nineteen seventy-nine and nineteen eighty! Lots of important things were going on in the world back then. The iconic arcade game Pac-Man was released. We saw the debut of CNN, the first twenty-four-hour news channel. The Rubik's Cube came to the United States. But in Davis, America, two very important events happened. In nineteen seventy-nine, the Davis Wolves won the Class B State Football Championship. Mr. B took pictures that night and our whole family was there.

But even more importantly in my world, I started work at the Davis newspaper and that led to me writing a weekly column. Those were the good old days for sure!.
