Spencer West defies his father, Jayden, Vice President of Aerocom, a major Pentagon contractor, to become a detective with the Dallas Police Department instead of a computer engineer. A drive-by shooting results in a serious head wound that changes his life forever. He wakes up from a coma five days later with a limp and eyes that can't tolerate bright light.
