Kim enjoys writing children's books. Her inspiration stems from life events and conversations with her nephew, Caleb and her niece, Chloe. She aims to inspire young readers to embrace their own individual selves and being confident. Mostly, she hopes that young readers will enjoy being young. Kim lives in Richmond, Virginia. She is a graduate of Virginia State University. She treasures time with Caleb and Chloe when they come to visit from Ohio. She enjoys baking, crafting, and reading.
