Pat Brown, MBA is a former Division I football captain turned nationally respected wealth advisor, educator, and advocate for financial literacy in the Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) era. With over two decades of experience in financial planning, investment strategy, and insurance, Pat has dedicated his career to helping student-athletes, families, and professionals build wealth with clarity, confidence, and purpose. Pat played football for the University of Kansas from 1994 to 1999, where he served as team captain his senior year and helped lead the team to national recognition. After a brief stint in the Canadian Football League with the Calgary Stampeders, he pivoted into the financial services industry. His personal experience navigating life after sports and the absence of financial guidance early on inspired him to become the advisor he wishes he had when he was an athlete. Pat is the founder of www.FinancialLiteracyForNIL.com and author of multiple books in the Financial Literacy For NIL series, including titles for high school athletes, parents, international students, and now tax-specific education.

His mission is clear: to empower student-athletes to see themselves as CEOs of their own financial future. He frequently speaks at schools, athletic departments, hospitals, churches, and community organizations about the importance of financial education, especially in underrepresented communities. Pat also serves as a trustee on the board of Lawrence Memorial Hospital and regularly participates in panel discussions about Medicare, retirement, and generational wealth. When he's not teaching athletes how to navigate NIL deals or helping families make long-term financial decisions, Pat enjoys spending time with his wife Cassandra and their two daughters, Peyton and Ryan. He brings a coach's heart, a teacher's clarity, and an athlete's discipline to every conversation about money.
