Melody Brunsting has been writing stories for over30 years as a public relations and marketing professional. She has also written several books that sit on ashelf awaiting the writer's journey of a rewrite. She was born the same year as Disneyland. Her mother was aportrait artist at Disneyland. This gave her a fascinationwith cartoons and children's fantasy stories.Born legally blind in her left eye, Melody has never had depthperception and for years wrote stories rather than paint them. She was in her 40s when she discovered that the lack ofdepth perception was an advantage to a painter. In 2013 she began her comic adventure.
She was painting aseries of chickens on sports fields. "Pushed Fowl","Gossage & Eggs," and "Fowl Pole." Her mother suggestedthat she should turn them into cartoons. This spawned the comic strip and book "Franger Chicken."Then came "Norm the Normal Dog." IRL Norm, aSt. Bernard /Boxer Mix was dumped in an area of Riverside,California known as a "swamp." His story is about how heovercame his early trauma to be a happy boy.
