This story starts out with an abused woman who leaves her husband and goes back to college and gets a degree in Astro Physics and is hired by an observatory in Texas. She observes an anomaly in the M15 part of the sky and when she reports this, the other Observatories start tracking it. They eventually believe that it is headed towards our sun and it will destroy it. When it does arrive, it causes complete destruction of the Earth, leaving people struggling to survive. At one point there is a war between Whites and Native Americans¿ Frozen Solid is a fast-moving novel of people worldwide trying to survive without transportation, communication, and loss of loved ones. Chaos, rivalry, competition and disputes to obtain the necessities of life, covers the Earth.
