Ann Gibson, a sweet southern bell from the mountains of North Carolina, moved to the big city of New York to follow her dreams to become a teacher. To her surprise she falls for Dylan, a womanizing big shot sports agent. After he pops the question Ann goes back home to her small town to tell her family. Soon after arriving she meets Chase, the farms newest ranch hand. Fighting the feelings she is starting to feel, Ann has to make a decision. Stay with Dylan in the big city, or move home and be with Chase. While trying to decide Ann has to put up with a back stabbing best friend, a crazy ex, and a out spoken grandmother.
