Jim Burklo is the Protestant minister for the United Campus Christian Ministry at Stanford University, and the minister of College Heights United Church of Christ in San Mateo, California. A graduate of the University of California, he received his Master of Divinity degree from San Francisco Theological Seminary in 1979 and was ordained in 1981. He was founder and later director of the Urban Ministry of Palo Alto, serving low-income and homeless people.
