This book explores the methodology and future of AI art by introducing the latest knowledge at the intersection of artificial intelligence and art, helping readers build a knowledge framework for art creation in the cutting-edge technological environment. By showcasing current new creative tools and the capabilities of generative AI, exploring creative thinking and design practices, and demonstrating the application of AI technology in the design field, this book also provides ideas for the intelligent translation of traditional Chinese symbols and traditional fine art concepts in the new technological context. Xinyuan Cai is a Professor at the School of Design, Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST), where he currently serves as Dean of the School of Design. He also holds the positions of Director of the Key Laboratory of Light and Shadow Interaction Service Technology (Ministry of Culture and Tourism) and Director of the Hubei Engineering Research Center for Digital Light and Shadow Technology, and is the Initiator of the China Artificial Intelligence Art Education Collaborative Innovation Platform. Jian Zhang is a Professor at the School of Design, Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST). She currently serves as Head of the Department of Digital Media Art at the School, and Deputy Director of the Key Laboratory of Light and Shadow Interaction Service Technology (Ministry of Culture and Tourism).
