Carroll is a writer, educator, photographer and graphic designer. The children's art book, The Tree Who Walked Through Time ~ A Tree Identification Story was published in 2014 in collaboration with 17 artists as a community project. Carroll published A Wyoming Cowboy in Hitler's Germany in 2016, telling the story of H Carroll, a WWII reconnaissance photographer, paratrooper, and POW. She published Spiders Dance in 2017 with artist Bobbie Powell for pre-school children, and disabled or challenged youth.
