ATHENA COOPER is a Calgary, Ontario-based artist, writer and creativity coach who uses her work to highlight the ordinary nature of her disabled life. From fine art exhibitions to children's book illustration, she continues to challenge perceptions around people with disabilities. Athena is the 2023 Winner of the Won Lee Prize celebrating creative excellence among Canadian visual artists living with disabilities.
