Born and raised in Alaska, Chris Carter serves as an Assemblies of God missionary to the people of Japan. In that capacity, he and his wife, Lindsey, pastor Tsukuba International Christian Assembly and lead a church planting team. Chris also teaches New Testament at Central Bible College, Tokyo and supervises research students for Asia Pacific Theological Seminary. He holds a Ph.D. in New Testament Studies from the University of Aberdeen and is the New Testament editor of the Pentecostal Old Testament and New Testament Commentary series.
