Michael Carter is a writer from the Western United States. He comes from an extended family of apple orchardists in Washington and homesteaders in Montana. He has a couple sheets of paper that say he may have learned some things in academia, but he was most influenced by his time spent at Space Camp and studying Roman Law at the University of Oxford. When he's not writing or working, he enjoys RVing, spending time with his family, and wandering remote areas of the Rocky Mountains with his dog Hubbell, primarily along the banks of the Gallatin River.
