I consider it a true blessing to serve in the Children's Ministry team at my local church, where I have been teaching Sunday school to elementary children for the past several years. The children's picture books I have written and illustrated are designed to be engaging and educational, incorporating life lessons with a Christian perspective. It is with a deep sense of joy I try to create intriguing stories, filled with sweet and lovable characters who not only entertain, but also provide my young audience with fun and engaging ways to learn. I believe it is possible to spark parent child conversations, as well as imaginations, by creating colorful stories filled with rich, whimsical illustrations in a variety of mixed media such as watercolors, pen and ink. My goal is to provide children with fun and enchanting ways to learn about relationships, feelings and faith by placing special focus on helping them feel loved, valued and appreciated, all while introducing them to the joys of reading. Since retiring from Costco in 2020, I have been writing, painting, cooking, baking, enjoying time with friends, family, our 10 grandchildren, and volunteering alongside my husband at our local church in Post Falls, Idaho.
