Although each of the eight stories in this collection is different,all share common characteristics. They are experiments; differing in convention, in characterisation and in genre, but uniting around the common narratives of time, memory and identity.The tropes of crime, murder and the paranormal are used to examine the contradictions between the abstract understanding and the physical reality - the lived experience - that compose such concepts. These are stories about the reconciliation of these ideas in the midst of the human obsession with immortality and frailty.
