Parallel and series connections are fixed methods, resulting in 'inactive' mechanical systems that produce constant voltage in direct current (DC) systems as when used in batteries and renewable technologies. 'Active' mechanical systems from turbines generate alternating current (AC) to produce grid electricity commercially. The concept of active and inactive mechanical energy systems is elaborated on in the book. The para-series electronic battery method enables dynamic connection of batteries based on duty-cycle and timed switching algorithm. It uses two isolated circuit that enables inactive DC systems to become active or vice-versa. The switching battery technology uses software making possible for the easy converting between AC and DC without expensive electromagnetic transformers, converters and inverters. It enables typical batteries to become a smart battery system and an electronic power switching system that flexibly manages multiple input sources and output loads concurrently, while maintaining a stable state of charge in the switching battery system. 8 para-series electronic battery connection methods that may be useful to integrate AC-DC systems without expensive electromagnetic devices such as inverters, converters and transformers are detailed within: Vector method enables cell balancing when the battery is directly connected to the load Dynamic Charging method enables dynamic charging of the battery in one cycle by connecting to a renewable energy source while the second cycle is connected to the load AC method is a dynamic charging method that enables the switching battery systems to mimic sinusoidal waveforms through switching and timing algorithms DC method is another dynamic charging method that combines 2 pumping systems like our heart to provide stable voltage to the load Battery pairing method enables 2 groups of batteries of varying sizes and capacities to be connected together Sync-charging method enables a group of batteries to be charged directly from AC current Switching solar method enables solar photovoltaic panels to be re-arranged in the new para-series method Matrix controller method enables seamless integration between AC and DC systems This book is written by the inventor of the patented para-series electronic battery connection method, Kannappan Chettiar.
