Chrissy Chicory is the author of cozy mysteries, magical realism, romantasy, and mindful nonfiction, weaving stories where everyday life brushes against the unseen and the heart always leads the way. She creates richly atmospheric worlds filled with folklore, ghostly whispers, small-town charm, and characters searching for connection, courage, and belonging. Her works include The Culebra Chronicles, a romantasy series set in historic St. Augustine, Florida, blending ancient magic with modern life; the Nettles B&B ParaCozy Mysteries, featuring pixies, haunted heirlooms, and a spirited Victorian ghost in a seaside bed-and-breakfast; and the Ink and Verse handwriting workbooks, which celebrate classical poetry while preserving the art of cursive penmanship. She is also the author of the Lucid Living series, gentle guides to mindfulness, intention, and purposeful living. With Hallow Rising, Chrissy steps into spicy Appalachian romantasy, drawing on mountain folklore, elemental magic, and slow-burn, fated romance to explore themes of guardianship, desire, and what it means to be truly seen. Chrissy holds an associate degree in Library Science and a bachelor's degree in Fine Art, and her love of books, history, and visual beauty infuses both her storytelling and her publishing craft. She lives in Florida with her husband-her real-life inspiration for many of her devoted, poetic heroes-and is a proud mother and grandmother.

When she's not writing, Chrissy can be found practicing the cello, sipping tea while dreaming up new worlds, and hosting cozy gatherings for readers through her Velvet Teacup Society community.
