Chrissy Chicory is the author of The Culebra Chronicles, the Nan Nettles mysteries, the Hallow Rising series, and the illustrated Stroll & Story keepsake books. Her stories blend magic, mystery, family, history, and a strong sense of place. Much of her work is inspired by St. Augustine, Florida, where old streets, hidden courtyards, ghost stories, coastal legends, and centuries of history provide the perfect setting for adventures that feel both enchanted and familiar. Through the Stroll & Story app and its companion keepsake books, Chrissy invites readers to step directly into the story. These interactive adventures combine walking tours, augmented-reality encounters, photographs, local history, and original fiction, allowing families and travelers to explore a city while creating a personal record of their experience. Chrissy is also the founder of The Velvet Teacup Society, a reader-and-author community centered on books, conversation, and the joy of discovering new stories. She lives in Florida with her family and her Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Audrey, whose considerable charm has found its way into more than one fictional character.

When she is not writing, Chrissy can usually be found reading, practicing the cello, playing Mah Jongg, wandering through bookstores and antique shops, or dreaming up the next story hidden along an old city street.
