I was born in Van Nuys, California, and was never supposed to walk due to polio in my left leg. With the help of the March of Dimes and prayers that were answered, I am now able to walk. I wrote my first poem in sixth grade called aLove, a then everyone united through all living together as the brothers and sisters we are. I started writing again during Thanksgiving 2003, because I felt the need to express myself through poetry once again. My poetry has the wisdom of age and the essence of what I feel. It also touches every fiber of my being.
