A completely new approach to Bible introduction. While focusing attention on the canonical process in ancient Israel and the Christian Church from earliest times to the present, the author draws upon the most recent work in biblical studies as well as upon Jungian depth psychology to present the biblical text as a single book with a discernible structure which highlights its theological meaning, rather than as a mere collection of miscellaneous texts.
