One in Five people have a mental illness. Having a mental illness often carries a stigma. This book seeks to reach beyond stigma and celebrate mental health through photography and poetry. I am uniquely qualified to write this because I has a mental illness-- bipolar disorder. The poems show my experiences both as a sufferer of mental illness and one who has overcome.
