A collection of 18 stories and 12 poems, written in British English, for young children (pre-school and infant). The earlier stories are short and simple, the later ones longer and more involved. All poems and several of the stories are about animals. Most stories feature children/pets/toys in the home environment. There are no illustrations, but the print is large enough for young readers to manage on their own.
