Anna Claybourne (Author) Anna Claybourne has written over 150 children's books on all kinds of subjects, from sharks, black holes and splitting the atom to how to draw, Shakespeare's life, and Greek myths and legends. She knows a lot about conservation in the rain forests of Costa Rica as she once volunteered there for three months. She likes space, sewing and music, plays the trombone and loves going camping. Susanna Rumiz (Illustrator) Susanna Rumiz lives in Italy. She has been working the past 10+ years creating books and games that spark kids' curiosity and help them grow. Among Susanna's many clients include Usborne, Quarto Publishing, Scholastic, Penguin Random House, Atheneum Books for Young Readers, Crayola, and Pearson Education. When she's not illustrating, you can find her reading fantasy on the couch with her cats, Gina and Bonnie, taking care of her jungle of plants, enjoying the seaside, or sketching strangers in public.
